About the Artist

I am an Irish artist, I grew up beside the sea in Clontarf, Dublin and now live with my husband and two daughters surrounded by beautiful countryside in Celbridge, Kildare.

I have always been creative but when I got my first camera for my 10^th birthday it opened a whole new world to me, and I discovered that I had an eye for capturing the moment, the emotion and seeing beauty in everything around me.

I am inspired by nature and try to capture the change the seasons have on the landscape, the colour, light and textures. I worked for an airline and enjoy travel photography, I use these photos as inspiration for my paintings.

Studying printed textiles in NCAD led to further study of interior design and I have now combined these skills with my paintings which I have transferred onto textiles on items such as cushions and art bags. The paintings will also be available soon in Giclee prints, sets of cards and notebooks, all printed in Ireland.
